Expedition Academy students had a wonderful opportunity to get outside and help at the Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge Tuesday October 17th. Students planted willows, collected aquatic macro invertebrates, and learned about the National wildlife system. They also learned some important history about Seedskadee itself, then went on a short hike to see firsthand some of the restored wetland areas.

Students worked with a group from the Montana Conservation Corp and were able to connect with this hip, cool group of kids who lead them in small groups. Maybe someday one of them may find themselves working for AmeriCorps, someday maybe!

Everyone involved with the project at Seedskadee were impressed with the work and attitudes of all the students in helping be part of the wetland restoration project.
